USA Wrestling and Oregon
Friday, July 23, 2010
USA Wrestling partners with 6 Degrees Wrestling, an RWC program, to serve Oregon with the Jr. Development Camp. USAW is progressively looking for ways to diversify their programming and elevate wrestling around the country. This camp is a 4-day World Class camp being held at Oregon City High School from August 9-12.
The camp is also featuring a 2-day coach’s clinic and social with the purpose to create some much needed intimacy amongst the wrestling community. In so doing, there will be an emphasis on wrestling technique, as well as what we can be doing within our sport to achieve the next-level organizationally. USAW is serving Oregon properly with world-class clinicians and at a rock-bottom price tag that cannot be found anywhere else in the country.
The Jr. Development Camp features:
-Brandon Slay (Olympic Champion, 2000)
-Les Gutches (World Champion, 1997)
-Dan Russell (4X NCAA Champion)
-Scott Glenn (NCAA All-American)
-David Vizzini (2X NCAA All-American...and RWC’s own)
USAW Wrestling members will only pay $50.00 for this amazing experience, while non-members will pay $100.00. Non-members are still being served properly, as this camp is still 100% cheaper than other commuter camps around the country. Moreover, RWC has supplied a bonus sponsorship from And1. Vizzini states, “This is the first wrestling camp in the country to find sponsorship from a basketball organization, and this is what we feel is truly bridging the gap and achieving the next-level in sports. President Todd Milionis of Sportswave is to think for this added benefit. Athletes who select the “Gold” package will pay an additional $25.00 for a pair of cross-training shoes.
